Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request that we delete your personal data from our systems. This page explains what gets deleted, what we must retain, and how to submit your request.
What We Will Delete
Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently erase or anonymise the following data within 30 days:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
- Your health and medical information (dialysis type, reports, treatment preferences).
- Your account credentials and login history.
- Profile photo and any other content you uploaded.
- Clinic bookings, appointment history, and saved clinics.
- Any Facebook / social login association with your account.
What We Must Retain
Some data is subject to legal retention obligations and cannot be deleted immediately:
- Financial records (invoices, payment receipts) — retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
- Anonymised aggregated analytics — your identity is removed but statistical data may persist.
- Fraud prevention logs — retained where required to detect or prevent fraud or abuse.
How to Request Deletion
Step 1 — Email us
Send an email to privacy@dialysisongo.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address or phone number linked to your account.
Step 2 — Verify your identity
We will send a one-time verification code to your registered email or phone number to confirm it is you making the request.
Step 3 — Confirmation & Processing
Once verified, your account will be deactivated immediately and full deletion completed within 30 days.
Step 4 — Completion notice
You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete.
